You can view and save James' death certificate, if
you don't have it.

I found Nellie's parents to be J. Herman and Helen (MNU)
Sprouse. They and their three children were living a
few houses away from James and Nellie in 1930, St. Louis
City. James and Nellie have been married for ten years,
Edward 1 7/12 is their only child.

I don't see the Sprouse' in 1920 but James 28 and
Nellie 18, were in Venice, Madison county, Illinois.

1910 finds Nellie, parents and siblings in Alto Pass,
Union county, Illinois.

1900 her father Herman was with his brother William,
wife Susan and nephew Thomas A. in Pomona, Jackson
county Illinois.

The 1880 census transcription on the LDS site,
has Herman, his parents, Fred and Eliza, three
siblings and Eliza's sister in Southern, Williamson
county, Illinois.

I couldn't find marriages or deaths for her parents
or siblings.

Judy
