I have a copy of “Home on the Double Bayou – Memories of an East Texas Ranch”, written by R. S. Jackson. It is copyright 1961, and I would like to get it back in the hands of family members. The book is a study of the joy of childhood on the JHK Ranch in Chambers Co., TX from 1847-1925. There are a number of chapters devoted to genealogy, going back to his great grandfather Humphrey Jackson, born 1784 in Ireland. His grandparents were James Jackson, born 1822 and Sarah Cade White, born 1832; and Bert Wood Briggs and Mary W. Zuill, and there are b/w photos of all four of them. This is a 136-page hardcover book, in excellent condition. Please email me at margerice@prodigy.net
