I am seeking family information on Nancy Jackson. She was born in Spartanburg, SC in about 1747 and she married John Hampton bef 1774 in Newberry Dist., SC. John was born Aug 4 1743 in Fairfax Cty, VA. He died Oct 18 1808 at Mt Airy Plantation, Newberry, SC. Nancy died bef 1782 when John remarried to a Margaret Winn in Winnville, Fairfield Cty, SC.
Nancy and John had two children I know of: John born 1775 who died unmarried bef. his father (Bef. 1808). And Elizabeth, July 4 1775 in Newberry Dist. She married Thomas Sharpe Herbert there in 1794. They had about 12 children born in SC. Can anyone help me with the parents of Nancy Jackson???
