1860 Census-Burlington, Iowa
Joseph Jackson 44 Cooper born MD
Isabella 24 born IL [theory new wife]
Lewis 5 born IA [named for Melissa's husband??]
Luela 3/12 born IA
1870 Census-Green Bay,Lee County, Iowa
Isabell McDonal 35 widow born IL
Lewis Jackson 15 born IA
Luella Jackson 10 born IA
Ada Jackson 7 born IL
Ada is called a Jackson not McDonal- born about 1863. Appears Isabell remarried and again a widow or maiden name?
If this is same Joseph Jackson he died 1862 to say 1869 in Iowa or Illinois. Could have been in Civil War but maybe a little old. Possible Burlington, Iowa obits available somewhere?? That is if right Joseph. Or obits of Iowa and Illinois.
