Jacob family 1880-1920, India and England
I am interested in the descendants of three brothers, Frank, George and Stephen Jacob. Frank married Emily Martha Crawford (1849-1931) had 3 children but no grandchildren. George of the Bombay Civil Service married (1880) Emma Christina Clarke, (1855-1885) and had one daughter, Ivy, born 1883. Ivy married a Francis Griffith in 1906 and had two children, Daphne and John. Stephen Jacob ICS married a Miss Forlong from Wanganui, NZ and had at least seven sons including the composer, Gordon Percival Septimus Jacob, b.1895. There was a Doctor Lancelot George Jacob (1890-1971) who was, I suspect, a grandson of Stephen Jacob and thus a nephew of the composer.
I am particularly interested in Ivy and her descendants, the Griffiths, but would like to hear from the others too. There is, I believe, a connection with Jacob of Jacobabad but I am not quite sure what it is.
