Can anyone clarify whether Mary (Swanson)Jacob is, indeed, the daughter of Francis and Susannah (Plummer/Ploumer) Swanson? I have found several researchers who show this descent, but researchers of the parents, who cite reliable sources, do not show these parents have a daughter, Mary.
I descend from Jeremiah and Rachel (Gaither) Jacob and I'm trying to verify the ancestors of Jeremiah Jacob. With the confusion about the true ancestry of John Jacob, added to the cunfusion of Mary Swanson's ancestors, I'm not sure who Jeremiah Jacob's ancestors are.
It would be great if someone could clear this up for me and all of the other researchers who may be displaying incorrect information.
