Still looking for his ancestry but have received the following new info:
Henry - born early 1860's in Belleville,IL. Died 1923 in Hammond, IN. Married Lucinda Bettner, born Oct. 18, 1866, Logansport, IN.
Lived for awhile in Vandalia, IL where 6 of 10 children born: Berty: 1884-1884, Bertha: 1885-1886, Henry: 1888-1889, Rhayen Jacobi Pippenger: 1890-1928, Harold: 1893-1997, LeRoy LaVird: 1896-1958. Family moved to TX where Henry worked on the building of Southern Pacific Railroad. Four more children born there: Henrietta Jacobi Jones: 1900-1940, Editha Jacobi Schmidt 1903-1980, Beatrice Jacobi Larson: 1905-1989, and Harriet Jacobi Collins: 1908- . After his wife's death Henry also lived in Oklahoma City and Hammond, IN.
