I have been searching for years for any information on my Grandfather Ira Olaf Jacobsen. Some people in my father's family says he was born in Canada, others say Norway. He was born May 18, 1880. He married my Grandmother Stella Jacobs on September 14, 1919 in Walters, Oklahoma. He died and is buried here in Las Vegas, NV in 1963. They had 2 sons, my father Jean Jacque Jacobsen and David Dobbs Jacobsen. My Grandfather worked in a circus for many years, I am not sure which one though. He was also a bartender and newspaper salesman. Any info anyone can give me would be much appreciated. I have been searching for over 20 years! Thanks cousins!
