I'm searching for another living descendant of Jacob Jacobsen born in 1849 Norway and his wife Ellen born April 1864 in Sweden. Emmigration records noted on the 1900 census in Queens Ward 1, Queens, New York stated that Jacob emmigrated to the United States 21 years prior in 1879. Ellen stated she emigrated 14 years earlier in 1886. Listed children in this census was Annie born July 1889 age 10, Laura born Dec 1890 age 9, John born April 1892 age 8, Cornelius born Sept 1894 age 5, Matilda born Feb. 1897 age 3 and Charles born June 1899 age 11 months. All children noted to been born in New York. Next door was Eric Jacobsen born April 1854 age 46 born Norway, wife Laura born May 1846 born Norway. Listed children Josephine born Nov. 1884, Jennie born Dec 1885, Earnest born March 1891. All children born New York. Erick emmigrated 1881 and Laura emmigrated 1886.Jacob was deceased by the 1920 census as Ellen was listed as head of household. She had two other sons listed Robert age 17 and Carl age 20. In the 1930 census Ellen is living with her son Robert E. A. Jacobson in Bronx, Bronx, New York.
