Any info on the following family would be great.
I am looking for help on my family of COlberts, and need someone in NYC to possible do a lookup for me. I have a death date in NYC of a john Colbert : Sep 25, 1795 in New York City, but need info on this person. Something as simple as a grave, or hopefully some kind of record. Also Would appreciate help on the Jacoby's who are supposedly from Holland. Possibly need help finding an immigration record, or something like that which will take to another country.
On John William:
Joined artillery Company in NY City in 1818
Moved to Cincinnati between 1810 & 1812
About 1818 moved to Lebanon,OH
John William Colbert and Elenor Jacoby had 12 children
Elenor Jacoby.
Her parents were: Peter Jacoby; born: 1742 died: 9/28/1809 NYcity
Mother; Margaret Ellsworth(from somewhere I have Ellsworth but not
sure), born:1763 died: 11/1/1810 New York City.
I am pretty sure Elenor Jacoby is correct. (not sure on spelling of
Elenor) Got Holland from the Census, I believe
