I talked to my mom, Suzanne, today and we are definitely talking about the same person. The first thing she said was "Uncle Wes looked so much like Daddy." And, she was able to solve the mystery of Linda and Barbara. Barbara Anne (as my mom knows her) is indeed the mother of Linda. Barbara's mother is Elizabeth Poe and Elizabeth's mother is Anna (or Aunt Annie as she is known here). Barbara had a brother named Carl. And my mom knew Uncle Clark (Worthington) and remembered he was blind. My mom visited Birmingham with her mom, and I'm not sure who else, when she was 16, so that would have been about 1954. As for Oscar, there are two surviving children--Peter and my mom. He had 8 grandchildren he never met. I am the oldest granddaughter. My mom is anxious to talk with you!
