So, while my granny told me that her grandfather was Jacoups, I find it interesting that on her mother's marriage certificate(lizzie jacobs married james long) that lizzie signed her name(or someone signed it "Jacobs".

When Kim sent out the census listings we can see that Jacobs and Jacoups is used.
