I attended an Indian Genealogy workshop about two years ago. It was for Cherokee heritage, but thought it would be of interest. The instructor was Creek/Catawba but lived on the Cherokee reservation. He said ours should not be hard to trace. ha-ha. His daughtet does Cherokee genealogy for $30.00, extensive search $100.00 Her name is Pam Blankenship 828-497-9709. She lives at Cherokee, NC. Her father Bob Blankenship is the author of several books, listing the rolls - Cherokee Roots I and II and several others. I have two of them. I have some information that I got from Oklahoma that names John A. Jacoups Husband of Mary Jacobs. I will mail to you if you want.
