Looking for information on Sophia Dorothea Frederick Jager born 12 Dec 1818 in Schlatkow, Pommern, Germany died 28 Jan 1897 in Taylor Mich. married to William Wendt b:1823 Anklam, Pommern, Germany died 1897 Taylor, Wayne Co, MI. they had (according to 1920 census) 6 children of which 3 are living. I know of Marie Johanne Wendt maried to John Koeppen, Auguste Wendt and Ida Zedonia Wendt married to Adolph Friedrick Koester. This family attended the St Paul German Luthern Evanglical (United Church of Christ today) in Taylor Michigan. Does anyone know anything about the parentage of Sophia and William Wendt. Looking for names for the other 3 children. Sophia & William are buried in the Oakgrove Cemetery in Taylor.
