I'll give it a try, Doyle. I don't have any of those names in my Jagger family research yet, but I've only got back to around 1807 in Halifax, England. And there are branches I haven't begun to check. The reason I'm interested is the cotton reference. My father, the only son of Selina Jagger and Ernest Jones Crowther was convinced he had an ancestor who made a fortune running the cotton-blockades in the US civil war. I never knew the name he had in mind so haven't been able to start to research it. This ancestor died intestate, unmarried and childless in the US, and being a Yorkshireman, my father thought it criminal that the US governament should get its hands on the estate.
So I'll look out for the names you have and see if we tie up anywhere.
best wishes
