Hi Pauline, Thank you for making contact. I haven't followed up on the Philpott/ Jakeman family for a while. Dorothy Maud Philpott's father George Thomas Philpott was the eldest of 5. His youunger brother Henry Edwin Redmond Philpott came to New Zealand in 1906 and doesn't appear to have any further contact with his brothers and 1 sister. Also there has been a mix of spelling for Philpott, 1t and 2ts through the family which doesn't make them easy to find.I would love to know more about Dorothy and Alfred and if they had any children.
