I have a reference to a Thomas Charles Jakeman, b 1854 in Walsall and his wife Emily and their children living in Wolverhampton St, Walsall on the 1891 (PRO REF RG12/2251 Folio 12 Page 19). I don't have the rest of the details to hand.

He doesn't link into my family yet but I do know that our Jakeman's moved to Walsall c1881 (when their parents died) to live with relatives. Also we have twins in our Jakemans.

As far as confirming your link, I guess the 1901 census will help you greatly and we've got least than two months to wait!
