Seeking info regarding Laura Jakeway, b. abt 1830 in New York, m. Lorenzo Case who was b. abt 1820 in New York. They had seven children born in Ohio: Matilda, Charles, Andrew, Sarah, Henry, Hannah, Sharlotta. I found a Charles Case working on a farm in Licking County, OH in 1880 with a William Jakway, and suspect that William may be Laura's brother (and Charles her son). Also have found the Jakeway family living in Licking County in 1860: William Jakeway b. abt 1803 in New York m. Sarah ??. Their children were: Joseph b. abt 1841, William b. abt 1850, and John b. abt 1852. I suspect that this is probably Laura's family. Would appreciate any info, and am willing to share.
