It was very nice to hear from you! It is much harder to find information on the Jalberts than the Ouellettes. For the Dionnes, I haven't had much luck either. I do know that my great - grandfather, Amedee Beaupre and his wife Yvette Dionne might have been distantly related, as there are more than several Dion/Dionnes from the Beaupre line. Lately, I've been interesting to find out if there are any Native American ties to the French ones. Does anyone know if there was any intermarrying between the French and the Indians? I don't know much about the history - most of what I learned was in Quebec City when I went there eleven years ago. I just have a feeling that I have some Native American blood in me, somewhere.
