From what you've posted, it seems you have a lot of information on the Jalberts -all the way back to France. I'd love to learn what I can from the lineage of my great great grandfather, Jean Jalbert, goes back to the original early settler Mathurin Gerbet.

Jean Jalbert married Virginie Corbin in 1861 in Minnesota.

Also, from what we can find online about this couple, they lived in St. Elzear, Canada.
However, my great grandmother Rosalie Jalbert was born in Minnesota - so we are seeking any information about their time in Minnesota. The lists of their children that I've found online thus far only shows some of their other children - and all of them being born in Canada. Do you have information on their family??? All their
children, etc?

And, we've learned through some cousins that Virginie Corbin was a Metis (part native american indian). We have no idea where she came from - or her Metis
heritage. We'd love to learn more about that as well.
