I agree. Jalbert is in my paternal line and there doesn't seem to be much available, online anyway. During last half of 19th century there were several Jalbert lines that crossed the border from New Brunswick and settled in Maine; or in my case, Quebec, then Fall River Mass. Information I have indicates the name may have been Gerbert or Gilbert. Good luck and post if you have success.
