Hi Herve; My Grandmother was born a Charette. Parents were Sophie or Sophia Jalbert & Paul Charette fron Fort Kent, Maine (Aroostook).
On marriage certificate, her parents were listed as Frank Jalbert &
Olive Levesque. I have found records of a Francois Regis (Frank) Jalbert who married a Marie Olive Levesque from the Frenchville, Maine (Aroostook) area in 1899. Am I on the right tract? Your replies seem to lead me in your direction. If so, please contact me.
