Aaron Janney family Bible - early 1800s
No relation.I just enjoy browsing through family Bibles up for auction on eBay and trying to connect any genealogical info to those that might find it of interest or worth pursuing.I am not the seller, nor do I intend to purchase.Unfortunately, links to eBay items only stay active for 90 days. Here is what I found:

Based on my transcription of a photo posted by the seller:
Elisabeth Janny, b. ??
William Janney, b.
Juliet Janney, b.
Mary Janney, b.
John Milton Janney, b. ?? 1822
According to the seller:
The 200 year old leather Bible, contains the family record of the Janney family. The family record was entered on the back of the title page of the New Testament. It's dates start with a birth in 1783 (written in years later in 1805 when it was purchased for as a gift for that person upon his marriage.), and end in 1834. Some of the names mentioned within the Janney family: Elisabeth, Aaron, Mary, Hannah, William, and many more. Most of the names and dates are legible though there are a few that have some fading and are difficult to make out.
[Based on a little Internet research, I believe this to be the family of a Aaron Janney of Virginia. The above names are listed in order as I could make them out, but are not all inclusive - Michael R.]
