I am seeking any information on a Martha Jarret, who
(as the story goes) changed her name from Girard, after
being estranged by her brother Stephan Girard (Philadelpha -
a philanthropist/ship-owner born ca 1750)
Is anyone in the Jarret family familiar with such a story?
