Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Jaycox family, Dutchess County, NY
My mother is a Jaycox. Her grandparents owned a farm in East Fishkill(Hopewell Junction?) in Dutchess County, NY at what is now the intersection of the Taconic State Parkway and Interstate 84. Not far from Poughkeepsie, NY. The center hall colonial still stands, but is now owned by a man with the last name Bailey. My Grandfather was Maynard Ezra Jaycox. He married Edith Horton, who lived on a neighboring farm. Maynard had a brother Howard and a sister named Muriel. I think there were other siblings as well. If you have any other info, please email me.
