Dear Cheryl Henry is in the 1870 MI census in Leslie, MI It reads: Jaycox, Henry, 40, M. W, Farmer, $5,000, born in Ohio Jaycox, Clarisa, 40, F, W, Keepinghouse, born in Ohio Henrietta, 19, F, W, at home, born in MI James, 16, M, W, farm labor, born in MI I know this family as Henrietta is my gr-great Aunt who married Cortes/z Hull in MI. I have a photograph of them in 1886. Cortes is the brother of my gr great Grandmother, Alice Eliza Hull, who married Daniel Tainter, who is the brother of MARIAN TAINTER, who with Richard Gidfrey witnessed the wedding of Marcus Jaycox & Sarah M. Horth/Harth on the 27 Dec. 1858. In the 1870 Leslie Census, Henry Jaycox & family are right above the Nathan Jefferds family. Louise (Tainter) Jefferds is the sister of Marian & Dan Tainter. This is what I know of the Jaycox/Jacox family in MI & I, too, believe Henry & Marcus are brothers. Sincerely, Marilyn LeVeque Notify Administrator about this message?
