Thanks again. Just thought I would check and see if you had run across anything else lately. I have proof that she was the wife of Joseph Hodges and the mother of George Wheaton Hodges. I have a copy of George's Death Certificate filed with his wife Marana's request for her Civil War Widow's pension. Sobrina's last daughter was born in Streetsborough,Ohio. Joseph Hodges married Electa Clapp about a year later in Huntsburg, Ohio. My thinking is that Sobrina may have died in childbirth in Streetsborough or soon after either in Huntsburg or Streetsborough. I too believe the name may have originally been Griffen. I'm tracking that too. I know she had at least 2 sisters. One married a Linsley (Lindsley) the other a Mr. Harris. Unfortunately I do not know the sisters first names. I do thank you again for you help and I will keep searching. I know it works. I recently found my mother's half brother, half sister and stepmom. Her father had died in 1975.Mom's parents were divorced when she was 2 and she only saw him one other time when she was 7. Last week we got back from a 3 week trip to MN, Mi and Ohio doing research. The part in Michigan was spent with her new found family. She turned 72 while we were all together there, It was wonderful. It took years of research but it finally paid off.

Take Care,
