Hi Sharilyn,

I haven't checked in with you in some time. Wanted to see where you were on your Jaycox research. I've spent the past two years digging deeply into mine and hit a brick wall. I wonder if we can connect pieces yet. I am still trying to get my David and his son Isaiah past about 1783 in or around Botetourt/Bath, Virginia. My first record is of road maintanence with tiths in 1783 for Botetourt and 1787 tiths in Greenbrier. I've been able to come close to confirming birth about 1740-1750, supposedly close to 100 when he died. Also, the family was German, heavy accent, but coming from Alsace, which about the time was heavy German.

Regards,

Janis Bastian (Wander) whisperwhodares@hotmail.com
