I have found no connection of my David Jaycocks (the senior as he had a grandson with the same name) beyond Virginia and West Virginia. Research so far has shown this family was German, although rumor has them coming from the Alsace, France area, which was indeed heavily German. No known arrival to America. DOB around 1740-1750, earliest record so far about 1786, Virginia tithe record to maintain a road. David's son, Isaiah, had a daughter named Margaret, if I remember correctly off the top of my head. However she was in Ohio about 1850 and the name of Crowder is not jogging my memory.
