Sorry, mea culpa, it was Thomas Champion who is supposed to have married Frances Jaycocks. Thomas Armitage did marry a young wife and all, but I don't know who. This reason that matter was of significance is that when he referred to as the father-in-law of James Pine, some people read it as meaning that he was the father-in-law of Robert Ashman.
