Hi, I am trying to go through a back door to my Hodges ancestors of Onondago County,NY. All the sites on the net show my Joseph Hodges married to Electa Clapp in 1826-27 in Onondago County. However well kept records of our family contest that. They were married but in 1845 in Ohio. Joseph was first married to Sobrina Griffen.Sobrina Griffen was first married to Jacob Jaycox(?) and had one daughter,Lydia.I beleive all were from Onondago County..Any possibility you might know him.Sobrina last name may have been Grippen. She was the mother of Joseph's 1st 8 children and the mother of my gggggrandfather George Wheaton Hodges.
