I have very little information on either of the David Jaynes for whom I am looking. I'm not even sure of the correct spelling, Jaynes/Janes. There seem to be several Davids who had sons David. My David (II)who reportedly married a Pribble was probably in the Ohio valley in the early 1800's, possibly in Meigs Co., OH. There were Pribbles in the Ohio Valley, later in the Parkersburg, WV area which is not far fron Meigs Co.

I suspect that David (I) who reportedly married a Smith was born in the east, possibly PA.
