Hi Bernard,If the following is of interest to you, please contact me and I will try and give you more details. My Great Grandmother was Deborah Jayne (born 1849) and her parents were George Jayne ( a blacksmith of Abersychan ) and Jane Williams ( also of Abersychan, her Father was Daniel, a Mason) they were married 26th. April 1848. Decendents in Wales are the Matthews in Cym, Abergaveny, Ebbw Vale and until his death last year a Matthews in Llanhilleth. Does any of this relate to you? Regards, Peter. P.S. I was also born in 1936 in Ystrad Mynach ( which used to be in Glamorganshire until they messed about with the Counties!)
