RECORD SIZE CHILD BORN

Dr. W.G. J. Salmon of Old Forge, Pa., states that a girl baby born to Mr. and Mrs. James Jayne of Moosic three weeks ago weighed only one pound and two ounces, and upon being weighed again later gained only one ounce. The physician says the child is well. It is smaller than the baby born to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Burpee of East Templeton, Mass., which when one week old weighed one pond and fifteen ounces.
