Robyn, Have learned that my great-grandfather was Job, not Joseph, who married Elizabeth Yardley in 1857 in St/ Stephen, Birmingham, Warwick, Eng.Job had six sons, Samuel(I think Job's father's name), William, George,
Job(called Joseph in USA), Harry and John. Also had seven daughters: Hannah, Eliza, Jane, Elizabeth, Helen(Nellie), Sarah, and Lavinia. Not sure where Job lived. Oldest son, Samuel, was born in Cheshunt, Hertforshire, Eng. Some children born in Warwickshire.Don't know if related, but noticed the similarity in names.Job was born Feb., 1833 and immigrated to Canada in 1876 with all living children except Hannah, who married a man named ? Butler in England. Two of the above children were born in Canada(John and Harry).Rest born in England.Haven't learned any information yet for Job in England.Don't know his mothers name, nor Elizabeth Yardley parents names. If you think there could be a connection, please e-mail me.I do know that William wanted to go to Australia, but eventually settled in Rochester, New York.
