The Jabez Jenkin (b.1880), who I mentioned, had an uncle also called Jabez Jenkin (b.1851), in Laneast, in Cornwall.
Ephraim was another Christian name that was used a lot also in my Jenkin family.
The father of Jabez Jenkin (b.1880), was Ephraim Jenkin (b.1849-d.1913), of Laneast, Cornwall.
The father of Ephraim, was William Jenkin (b.1819-d.>1890).
The father of William was another William Jenkin (b.1795), of Badgall, Laneast, Cornwall.
The father of William (b.1795), was George Jenkin (b.1768), of Lewannick, Cornwall.
The father of George, was John Jenkin (b.1728), of Lewannick, who married Jane Sleep.
Do any of these generations fit in with yours?
The family of the eldest son, John Jenkin (b.1752), of John Jenkin (b.1728), established themselves in Nova Scotia, in Canada in the 19th century.
