Diane,
The link to Carlow is recent information for me, My father James was born in Macroom, Co. Cork, my grandfather Benjamin & ggrandfather Henry were born in Tuam, Co. Galway. I have reason to believe that my ggggandfather John came from Carlow. I also have reason to think that he was born in the same geographic area that Letitia came from.
I will update you when I receive more information.
My Father Jim came to America in 1920, and settled in Brooklyn, NY.
