Jim - I tried posting a reply to a message received from Jan Wilson - but the system asked me to log in - and I haven't 'joined' Genealogy.com.
I can get here: http://genforum.genealogy.com/jenkinson
and see the messages, but cannot contribute !!

So - please put the following (an email sent to me from a friend visiting Carlow, Ireland, there on holidays. He visited the local priest who allowed him to copy the info below) on the Messageboard for me. Thanks from Di Cummings

SURNAME GIVEN NAMES FATHER MOTHER EVENT BORN Married DIED AGE RegNo.
JENKINSON William Snr Spouse Ann Mathers Event: M
Their children: William (1825), Ellen (1828), Ann (1829), Letitia (1831) and Mary Ann (1833).
Letitia was the fourth child of William Jenkinson & his wife Anne (nee Mathers). Her brother William was only 6 years old when Letitia, the third of four sisters was born in 1831.
JENKINSON Letitia Event: B 1831 17/July/1831 Fenigh, Carlow, Ireland
JENKINSON Letitia (26) married HOLMES, John Event: M 1858 V.989
HOLMES John Event: D

HOLMES Letitia Jenkinson William Jenkinson & his wife Anne (nee Mathers) Event: D 1831 1901 70
The Fenagh Parish records indicate that Letitia was born in 1831, making her only 70yrs when she died (not 77yrs as noted on her Death Certificate)
Letitia Jenkinson (32) arrived in Australia 1856 on the ship "Ocean Chief" - probably only 25.
John Holmes (38) married Letitia Jenkinson(27) in 1858, at Snowdon Cottages, Emerald Hill

The address of Mary Elizabeth is as is written. The spelling now is "Lumcloon". Ballaghaderneen and Ballywilliamroe are addresses between the towns of Fenagh and Bagnalstown.

Dorothy Eleanor 24/01/1910 24/April/1910 Thos George & Mabella Jenkinson Ballywilliamroe Farmer & cycle agent

There were more Jenkinson baptisms after this date which I hadn't time to copy. There were no Jenkinson marriages between 1809 and 1834. I hadn't time to check the burials.
Unfortunately, the early baptism entries don't have a place for parent's address or father's occupation. I presume the fourth entry is your Letitia.
All William and Anne Jenkinson's children were baptised by Rev. Samuel Downing, rector of Fenagh.
There are still Jenkinsons in Ballywilliamroe. They own a garage selling farm tractors and combine harvesters. A big step from bicycles! All the best, Di Cummings
