My great grandfather is Richard Luke Jenkinson,DOB unknown he was from Cockermouth, in Cumbria, his son was Richard, his son Peter, my father, and I have a son Thomas- dont know much more than that, but keep aiming to find out, wonder if you have come across Richard Luke- he travelled to South America and worked on the steam railways there for a time. He was in later life a lay preacher, and did return to his home after his travels
