Hello Wendy, Alfred married twice as I'm sure you've sorted out by now.2 children by 1st wife and 8 from the 2nd. He was brother to my g grand father Samuel(B1827)Samuel married first Elizabeth, by whom he had John b 1848. Elizabeth (21.11.1828-21.1.1850)was eldest daughter of John Jennison and Maria Barber of BelleVue Manchester. He then married second Mary Thorpe and had 5 more children. Samuel was 2nd youngest of 11 children of Richard and Jane Jennison, Alfred being the youngest. It is supposed that Richard and John of BelleVue were brothers, but I'm still looking for proof.(No baptism for Richard).Thomas,Richard (other brothers) and Alfred were brewers and innkeepers and The Horseshoe pub in Bulwell was owned by them at one stage. There is also a street named after the Jennisons off the main road in Bulwell. Hope this fills in a few gaps. Helen
