will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Have transferred the material onto my work charts & again convey my thanks. Would have never thought to check New Mexico! One note on the children of John Henry & Adelia (Clark) Jergins that you might want to correct: The Mary Jane Jergins listed as having married Frank Silva in Chambers County is not J.H. & Adelia's daughter. They had a daughter by this name, however this one was Mary Jane Clark, daughter of Daniel Clark & Mary Morse. She was married (1) to William Alexander Jergins (apparently another son of Ultman & Lucinda). William was born in Alabama in 1826, & Mary Jane Clark born in Houston Co., Texas in 1846. They married in 1872 in Liberty Co., Texas. William A. Jergins had been married previously, in 1851, in Walker Co., Texas, to Kitty Ann Hoffman, about whom I know nothing. After William & Mary Jane (Clark) Jergins divorced, Mary Jane married (2) Frank Silva of Wallisville, Chambers County, in 1886. This is why at the time of her 2nd marriage she would have been listed as Mary Jane Jergins & easily be confused as the daughter of the same name of J.H. & Adelia Jergins. The 2 Mary Janes were 15 years apart in age: the one who later married Frank Silva being born in 1846, & the other in 1861. You might want to convey this to others working these lines; I have conveyed it to you since we have been exchanging information. Will still forward to you the Clark line back from Adelia as soon as I get it together. Thanks again.
