You are correct.I believe that Eliza was Zachariah Jerkins (the younger's)second wife, and that an affiliation may have existed prior to the marriage.He died shortly after this marriage. In 1860, a five year old Zachariah Jerkins appears on the Leon County Census, enumerated with Enoch Forbes and Sarah, his wife.Even though only five, his personal value is listed as $5,000.00.By 1870, the now 15 year old Zachariah was living on a farm in Wakulla County, FL.He disappears from the record after that.Pictures will follow within a few days. I am going to get both still and video.I hope that it turns out to be interesting.
