Thank you, Darren, for posting this information.Since I posted my message, I have been in touch with James Jerome who is also related to this branch.Perhaps he has worked with you on some of this information as some of it looks familiar.I do have a few questions and comments on what you have posted, however:
1) I see you say that Chauncey Jerome died in College Mound, Sullivan Co., MO.The only College Mound that I can find is in Macon County.
2) This marriage to Abbie Parker apparently took place in Adair Co., Mo11 February 1868 according to James Jerome.Obviously, the 1868 date was not when she was both born and married.
3). I can't find an Elmwood, MO on my maps but I have that Almeda Jane Baskett was born in Sullivan County.I do know that the family lived in Milan, Sullivan County at one time so perhaps Elmwood is nearby.
4) Was Laura Annie Jerome born 18 December or April 1874? I have both dates.
5) Was Claude M. Jerome born 26 October or June 1877?Again I have both dates.
6) You might like to have a death date for James Harrison Jerome---1965.He is buried in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fort Smith, AR.
7) As for the Johnny Leroy 1899-1901This is entirely possible as Almeda didn't die until 1905.Have you been to the cemetery and have the names of the children buried with Chauncey and Almeda Jane Jerome?
James Jerome has found the maiden name of Lucy. Her name was Lucy J. Pickett. She then married George W. McQuitty. Then she married Tom Neal whose daughter married James Harrison Jerome. She then married Chauncey Jerome about 1908 after the death of Almeda Jane.
Again, thanks so much for posting your information.
