Erected by Mary Jane ADAIR in loving memory of her father William ADAIR who died 23 Sept 1904 aged 82 years.Also her mother Hellen JESS who died 4th June 1854 aged 25 years.Also her brother Robert who died 14th Dec 1857 aged 8 years.Also her aunt Elizabeth JESS who died 15th Sept 1904 aged 97 years.Also the above Mary Jane ADAIR who died at South Strand Street 24th Feb 1919 aged 67 years.

Interred in Stranraer Parish churchyeard.Also his mother Elizabeth JESS lies underneath, who departed this life July 17th 1854 aged 59 years.Also his aunt Grace JESS who departed this life at Old Daly, Ayrshire March -- (18)66 aged 67 years.Who (lies) underneath this stone.
