Where do you find that? If they were minors, I would expect the will to require that the funds be held in trust for them until they came "of age."
Penry Williams, in "The Later Tudors, England 1547-1603," reports that "taking all social classes together, the average age for completed marriages was 26 for women, and 27 to 29 for men, although there was a good deal of variation around the mean and on the whole the children of the upper classes married earlier than others. Landowners were generally anxious to get their heirs married quickly so as to ensure the succession of the family estates; but most couples had to wait until it was possible for them to set up a separate household."
