Jane, My grandmother's name was Ada
Jewers, originally from London. She was
born around 1880, and lived to 88. Her
immediate family moved to America, but
she wouldn't go and instead ran off with
a gypsy type named George Smith who was my grandfather. They lived in Edmonton, north London, and had 13 children. There are also stories of earlier
members who were servants at Windsor
Castle. Does any of this sound familiar ?
I'd love to hear from you if it does.
