I cannot find a link with the information I now have on my Johansson/Johansen/Johnson clan. But, I don't know the first two children, who stayed in Denmark, nor any of the possible siblings in Sweden.
What I have is:
Andreas Johansen (Danish spelling), born 1830, Goteborg, SWE., died 1900, Aalborg, DEN (the county, not the city). Married Ane Birgitta Cecelie Pedersen Ulsted in Aalborg. She was born 1841 and died in 1911 and is buried in Aalborg. Most of the children were born/christened in Vor Frue, Aalborg. After five of their nine children came to the US, Andreas, Ane and Oscar, then 17, emigrated to SD, in 1896. Ane did not like it here and went back within a year. Andreas, however, did like it here and stayed three years before returning to Denmark, in 1899.
The children were:
.....1 Wilhelm, stayed in DEN. Nothing known.
.....2 Anna, stayed in DEN. Married a Rasmussen. Nothing else known.
.....3 Andrea Nicoline (Johansen) Hagensen. b-1861, DEN., d-1932, SD (South Dakota), no children, came to the US in 1893.
.....4 Carl Johan Johansen. b-1866, DEN., d-1915, SD, two children, first to come to the US, in 1890.
.....5 Valdemar Johansen (Walter Johnson), my grandfather, b-1869, d-1936, SD, 10 children, came to the US in 1893.
.....6 Johanna Marie Elizabeth (Johansen) Nielsen, b-1871, DEN., d-1930, SD, 8 children, came to the US in 1896.
.....7 Olaf Otto (Johansen) Johnson, b-1877, d-1938, SD, 3 children, came to the US in 1893.
.....8 Oscar (Johansen) Johnson, b-1879, d-1915, SD, no children, came to the US in 1896.
.....9 Elna Johansen, b-1880, d-1892, DEN., no children.

Hope this will be of some help. dj
