Hi Judy,

I have a question. I previously tracked these ancestors to a Lutheran Church in Pittsburgh, PA and contacted Thiel College in Pennsylvania where old Lutheran church archives are filed. The historian there found the records which confirmed their membership in 1876. My great grandmother was confirmed in 1877 and married there in 1879. A daughter died in 1879 and this was referenced in the church records. As I mentioned in my original post, my g-g-grandmother and three children vanish after 1879. Can the Immigration Research Center help me with research here in the US?

I also had an idea that they may have returned to Sweden after the death of the youngest child and someone on the message board searched the Swedish census in the locations where they previously lived but found nothing.

Thanks again,
Janet
