Cherry,I think I met you once at the library years ago in Conroe...I haven't done any good with my Jolly's, but you said ANY Suggestions you'd like...In the 1850 Tn Census there is a Stanton Jolly, age 3 (would be born the year you said 1847)BUT, the family he is living with is: D.Ferrill 35, b.NC, Tabitha 27, b.Tn.,Harriet Wood 23,Mary McKeel 11,....In marriages I found a Rebecca Jolly married to a Stephen Ferrill and I'm sure that's them under the nameFERRITT in the 1850 Tn Census...Stephen 21, b.Tn.,Rebecca 22, b.Tn. and Sarah 3/12...I think Rebecca was daughter of Wm Jolly and Martha (Golston) cause they are in Wilson County a few houses apart...Maybe you can figure something out...smile...I just mentioned Rebecca in case Wm.'s wife died and they needed a relative to keep Stanton a while.. Or maybe Wm was married to a Ferrill and his wife died...only where would Irene have been at this time? b. 1843...Good luck and let me know if you figure anything out about Stanton...There's also a younger Ferrill in Blanco Co...Sincerely,Laura Jolly Jackson...
