Early Virginia Jolliff (e) questions.

As many know, there has been some debate over John Jolliffe of Norfolk County and his relationships. The Will of John Jollof, dated 28 Nov. 1716 , states that he had a son, John (Jr.) and a Daughter, Mary. The Will also states that John's son has a daughter named Mary as well. This Will, to further narrow down which John we have here, refers to a Land Patent granted to John Jolliffe dated , 20 April, 1682. John Bacon is mentioned in this Will as well.
(A description of this Land Patent can be found under "Thomas Tucker", Cavaliers and Pioneers, Vol.2, Nugent, Page 249.)

My Question here is does anyone have a death date for this John (Sr.)?

Upon further study, I find John Jolliffe, Sr. AND Jr. as witnesses to the Will of John Bacon dated: 29 Nov. 1730 in Norfolk County. (As we have seen, John Bacon is mentioned in John Jollof's Will above.)

Many sources, all undocumented, give his death year as 1716 in Norfolk County, VA. Where does this come from? Is it a different John?

There is further debate on the relationship between Peter Riglesworth and John Jolliffe. John was reported to have married Peter's daughter Mary Riglesworth in Norfolk County, VA. I have seen different dates for her birth from 1620 to 1640 and birthplace from England to Norfolk County, VA. is there any "proof" to support a birthdate and place?

We know that the families were connected in some way because in the Patent referred to in John Jollof's Will from 1682 once belonged to Peter Riglesworth. :-)

If anyone has some "proof" sources and not just some undocumented Genealogy page to offer I'm listening. :-)
